For the Mercedes TV advert Hafdis plays a cover of the fabulous song Stop by Sam Brown. The single should out the November 24.

The sublime Hafdis Huld’s latest appearance on CD is as a guest vocalist on a track on Tricky’s new album, 'Knowle West Boy’.
The track, ‘Cross to Bear’ is a chamber-folk meditation on Scorsese's
The Last Temptation of Christ. Hafdis is one of four women effectively substituting for Martina Topley-Bird, the muse of Tricky’s debut album.
Tricky explains why he wanted to work with Hafdis: “I just thought her
voice would be great because its kinda innocent. I thought she’d be
good at playing Jesus. Not everybody could get away with that.”
Hafdis is currently writing material for her second album, which is
scheduled for release in 2009. A UK tour is being planned for the autumn.
Hafdis Huld is staring in the new international TV advert for
Mercedes Benz promoting their new Blue Efficiency range.

Been busy writing new songs for her second album, the part 5 of the
new funny videoblog is out during the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.
Englar í ullarsokkum (Angels in woolly socks), the children's album
written by Hafdis Huld and Alisdair Wright, is out in Iceland.
